Overview
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team at Candeo Peoria School. The position offers a part-time schedule supporting before and after school programs school breaks and summer programs. Candidates must commit to the full schedule provided.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment
- 2Serve as a role model promoting respect responsibility and resilience
- 3Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution
- 4Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
- 5Lead engaging enrichment recreation and team-building activities
- 6Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions
- 7Participate in games fitness activities and outdoor play
- 8Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills
- 9Assist with daily program setup and cleanup
- 10Support student check-in attendance and dismissal procedures
- 11Maintain an organized safe and positive learning environment
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2Experience working with children in schools childcare programs camps recreation programs or youth organizations preferred
- 3Must meet one of the following requirements: six months experience or twelve college credits
- 4Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- 5NAC CDA or CCP Credential
- 6Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- 7Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- 8Positive attitude patience and a genuine passion for youth development
- 9CPR First Aid certification preferred
Salary Insight
$21 - $26k per year
