Waabi seeks a Research Scientist to lead development of large-scale world models for temporal reasoning and generation. What You'll Do11
- 1Conduct fundamental research in generative predictive world-modeling techniques
- 2Develop video generation and prediction models using latent diffusion autoregressive flow-matching approaches
- 3Create multimodal foundation models for driving scenes and traffic participant understanding
- 4Implement LLM VLM VLA methods for scene reasoning and control
- 5Design controllable simulation frameworks for generating synthetic driving scenarios
- 6Perform model distillation to improve efficiency without sacrificing quality
- 7Integrate advanced models into distributed training and rendering pipelines
- 8Publish high-impact research at top-tier conferences
- 9Mentor junior scientists while fostering rigorous scientific experimentation
- 10Stay current with advances in generative AI differentiable rendering and knowledge compression
- 11Collaborate cross-functionally to translate research into production-ready solutions
Requirements8
- 1Ph.D. in Computer Vision Machine Learning Robotics or related field
