As an RN on our 28-bed Post Surgical Care 2 unit, you own pre- and post-operative care for orthopedic, spine, vascular, and trauma patients. The unit holds Advanced Certification in Spine Surgery and operates within Atrium Health Cabarrus, a 457-bed tertiary facility and Level III Trauma Center. You work with a multidisciplinary team and use Shared Governance and Clinical Ladder Advancement to drive professional growth. This role centers on pain management, mobility, and recovery, with BLS required and RN licensure mandatory. Lead comprehensive post surgical care for orthopedic spine vascular and trauma patients at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Deliver evidence based care across continuum while driving safety and patient experience. Contribute to multidisciplinary team focused on growth leadership and excellence.

You will own post-operative care for orthopedic, spine, vascular, and trauma patients on a 28-bed unit with Advanced Certification in Spine Surgery at Atrium Health Cabarrus, a 457-bed Level III Trauma Center. You will deliver pre- and post-operative care, manage pain, and drive mobility and recovery. Working nights and weekends, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and use Shared Governance and Clinical Ladder Advancement to grow your expertise. You will own post-operative spine care on a 36-bed neurosurgical telemetry unit that is Advance Spine Certified by the Joint Commission. The unit supports 14 beds with telemetry monitoring and handles complex spine surgeries for lumbar disc disease, spondylolisthesis, deformity, tumors, and trauma.
