Overview
Registered Behavior Technician implements behavior-analytic services at Elite Spectrum ABA, reducing challenging behaviors and teaching functional skills in an outpatient clinic. Work one-on-one with clients under BCBA supervision, using ABA techniques, and follow individualized treatment plans. Collaborate daily with supervisors, ensuring patient safety, and grow clinically through hands-on experience.
What You'll Do6
- 1Implement continuous and discontinuous measurement, recording client behaviors electronically and in observable terms.
- 2Deliver skill acquisition plans using discrete-trial training and naturalistic strategies, managing reinforcement schedules.
- 3Execute behavior reduction plans, implementing differential reinforcement and antecedent interventions.
- 4Document sessions with objective notes, maintaining confidentiality and legal standards.
- 5Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholders, upholding BACB guidelines and client dignity.
- 6Complete initial patient data collection and collaborate with the BCBA to adjust plans as needed.
Requirements6
- 11+ year experience as a Registered Behavior Technician
- 2Active BACB RBT certification in good standing
- 3CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- 4Completion of an education program approved by the credentialing body
- 5Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- 6Ability to work independently and handle challenging situations
