React Developer in Dallas, TX | JavaScript & Redux
Overview
You will own the frontend experience for a client-facing platform, shipping features that reach 10,000+ daily users. You will join a team of 8 developers reporting to the Engineering Manager, pairing with designers and product managers. This role centers on building React applications with Redux and Context API, and you will modernize the build pipeline with Webpack and Babel.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build new React components using JavaScript and HTML5 that handle complex state with Redux or Context API.
- 2Integrate RESTful APIs and secure authentication flows using JWT within the first 90 days.
- 3Design responsive layouts with CSS3 and modern techniques that work across devices.
- 4Debug and resolve issues in the frontend using browser dev tools and Git for version control.
- 5Refactor existing React code to follow best practices and improve performance.
- 6Collaborate with backend engineers to define RESTful API contracts and data shapes.
- 7Set up and maintain the build pipeline with Webpack and Babel, optimizing bundle size.
- 8Implement unit tests for critical React components and utility functions.
- 9Mentor junior developers on React patterns and modern JavaScript practices.
Requirements9
- 13+ years of professional React development and JavaScript (ES6+)
- 2Strong understanding of React core principles, including hooks and lifecycle
- 3Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or MobX
- 4Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into React apps
- 5Hands-on experience with modern build tools: Webpack and Babel
- 6Knowledge of JWT and modern authorization mechanisms
