Overview
QE Security Testing Engineer owns application security testing and performance validation across a 12-month contract in New Jersey. You'll drive security automation and non-functional requirements testing for enterprise systems. Working with a hybrid team, you'll shape the testing strategy from day one. What You'll Do8
- 1Build automated security test suites using K6 and Application Security tools within the first 90 days.
- 2Design and execute NFR testing frameworks for performance and security validation.
- 3Lead security assessments on web applications and APIs, identifying vulnerabilities and risks.
- 4Develop performance testing scripts and scenarios to simulate real-world load conditions.
- 5Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- 6Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks and security defects across the stack.
- 7Drive security automation frameworks, ensuring repeatable and reliable test execution.
- 8Document testing strategies, results, and recommendations for stakeholders.
Requirements6
- 110+ years in quality engineering with a focus on security testing and NFR testing.
- 2Hands-on experience with K6 for performance and load testing.
- 3Proficiency in Application Security Testing and automation frameworks.
- 4Strong background in Performance Testing methodologies and tools.
- 5Experience with Security Testing in hybrid and cloud environments.
- 6Ability to work onsite in New Jersey 3 days per week for the 12-month contract.
