You will own the design and development of Python tools and content pipeline systems for Nvidia LightSpeed Studios, impacting game development workflows at a global scale. Your work supports projects like RTX Remix and Avatar Cloud Engine, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust applications. You will work with Pixar USD, NVIDIA Omniverse, and Git in both Linux and Windows environments. What You'll Do8
- 1Build and maintain Python applications, pipelines, and tools for game content production.
- 2Develop modularized Python code with clear design patterns and architecture.
- 3Implement asynchronous features using Futures and asyncio.
- 4Debug and profile live Python code to identify and fix performance bottlenecks.
- 5Design and implement user interfaces for tools using PySide or PyQt.
- 6Integrate Pixar USD and NVIDIA Omniverse into existing content pipelines.
- 7Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ship solutions.
- 8Manage code with Git, participate in code reviews, and support CI/CD processes.
Requirements8
- 1Strong proficiency in Python, including design patterns and architectural best practices.
- 2Experience developing modularized applications in Python.
- 3Familiarity with asynchronous Python callbacks using Futures or asyncio.
- 4Proficiency in live Python debugging and performance profiling tools.
- 5Experience with 2D/3D content pipelines for games is mandatory.
- 6Knowledge of game engine development is preferred.
- 7Experience building user interfaces with PySide or PyQt.
- 8Prior exposure to Pixar USD and APIs of Digital Content Creation software is a plus.
