Protein Engineer - Biosensing
Overview
Convergent Research seeks a Protein Engineer to develop novel biosensors using allosteric switches and signal transduction motifs. Requirements8
- 1PhD in a relevant science or engineering field with strong independent ideation and execution
- 23+ years industry experience in protein design and selection
- 3Proven ability to write custom scripts for data analysis and instrument interfacing
- 4Experience with experimental and computational protein design tools
- 5Strong understanding of allostery and protein dynamics
- 6Familiarity with electronic nose technologies
- 72+ years of team management and mentoring experience
- 8Ability to thrive in a cross-disciplinary environment spanning chemists materials scientists hardware engineers software data scientists and vendors
