Overview
The Property Manager oversees day-to-day management and leasing of JBNC properties. This full-time exempt role combines traditional property management with community-focused approaches. Responsibilities include managing applications, rent collection, compliance, and collaboration with various teams.
What You'll Do11
- 1Respond to prospective residents and show available units
- 2Manage property waiting lists and answer housing inquiries
- 3Coordinate resident documentation and move-in processes
- 4Process deposits, prorated rent, and keys
- 5Collect monthly rent and monitor delinquent accounts
- 6Conduct unit inspections and manage move-outs
- 7Handle work orders and coordinate maintenance requests
- 8Maintain compliance documentation and support software reconciliation
- 9Prepare reports and address violations
- 10Communicate with residents, coaches, and support staff
- 11Ensure equitable application of policies and procedures
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 23-5 years of progressive property management experience
- 3Experience with HUD Section 8 and Elderly communities
- 4Familiarity with RealProperty or similar software
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills
