Project Coordinator (Onsite) – Packaging Design
Overview
Join MBD as a Project Coordinator to support a key client through on‑site communication and proactive coordination. This full‑time role in San Diego reports to the Production Director and involves acting as the day‑to‑day liaison between the client and the internal MBD team. The position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 depending on experience.
What You'll Do8
- 1Act as MBD’s on‑site representative within the client’s office, building trusted relationships
- 2Work alongside the Account Manager and Project Manager to support smooth project delivery and client communication
- 3Serve as a key contact for client questions, project updates, follow‑ups, and information requests
- 4Obtain answers from the client in person, reducing delays through the project workflow
- 5Translate client feedback into clear, actionable tasks for internal teams
- 6Monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks or delays and communicating next steps
- 7Maintain professionalism and sound judgment in client‑facing conversations
- 8Manage workflow and project information including approvals, feedback, and key documentation
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of client‑facing coordination experience
- 3Proactive communication style and ability to drive results
- 4Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport quickly
- 5Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
- 6Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 7Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Mac OS
- 8Experience within packaging design, branding, or CPG environments is helpful
