Production Manager, Concrete Leveling & Construction
Overview
Smartlevel Concrete, a leader in structural foam injection for concrete leveling, seeks a Production Manager to own all field operations in Columbus, Ohio. You will oversee the entire production process, ensuring teams meet KPIs, stay on budget, and deliver quality. You will lead a team of Installers and Leads, drive efficiency through data, and report directly to the executive team. This role offers a performance-based bonus tied to team output and the chance to scale a growing service business.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and execute daily production schedules that maximize route efficiency and output, partnering with dispatch to cut travel time.
- 2Lead hiring, firing, onboarding, and training for all field staff, setting clear standards and conducting ride-alongs to ensure compliance.
- 3Drive weekly tactical meetings and monthly performance reviews, calculating and approving team bonus pay based on incentive plans.
- 4Manage warehouse inventory, oversee shop and rig maintenance, and order materials to keep tools and equipment ready.
- 5Conduct post-job follow-up visits to verify quality and resolve property damage claims with speed and professionalism.
- 6Track, manage, and report production metrics to the executive team, adjusting workflows to improve margins and reduce errors.
- 7Enforce safety and quality standards on every job site, performing walkthroughs to catch issues early.
Requirements6
- 13+ years in operations or production management, preferably in home services or construction.
- 2Proven ability to track KPIs and use data to drive workflow improvements and meet financial targets.
- 3Strong leadership skills with experience holding teams accountable and building morale.
- 4Ability to travel to Brunswick office 3-4 days per month with overnight stays.
- 5Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent.
