Product Manager International Payments, Fintech
Overview
You will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ramp's international payments products, handling cross-border money movement for 70,000+ companies. You will lead a core team of engineers and designers to scale global payments infrastructure, including FX pricing, compliance, and risk. Your work will directly shape how businesses move billions in annualized spend. This role combines deep payments expertise with AI-driven prototyping to deliver seamless user experiences. At Ramp, you will build systems that drive real customer savings and revenue growth.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for international payments at Ramp, focusing on cross-border rails and FX.
- 2Drive high-velocity execution with a team of engineers and designers, using data to balance priorities.
- 3Build intuitive customer experiences that simplify complex payment flows, from initiating transfers to tracking settlement.
- 4Evaluate and integrate global banking, FX, and local payment partners to expand coverage and improve unit economics.
- 5Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to design scalable KYC/KYB and sanctions screening for safe expansion.
- 6Launch new international capabilities in target geographies, managing regulatory and operational constraints.
- 7Prototype rapidly using tools like Claude to accelerate the product development lifecycle and fast-forward to production-ready products.
- 8Stay plugged into AI research and industry trends, applying learnings to enhance product features.
Requirements10
- 1BA/BS in a technical or analytical field.
- 23+ years of product management experience.
- 3Strong customer empathy and design thinking, with the ability to translate insights into product decisions.
- 4Data fluency, including using analytics tools like SQL for decision-making.
- 5Experience evaluating product decisions and prioritization trade-offs.
- 6Demonstrated ability to lead and influence small teams of engineers and designers.
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 8Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects, and fluency with tools like Cursor, Bolt, and Claude Code.
- 9Experience building payments products or products in regulated markets is a plus.
- 10Experience building products with a significant AI component, especially leveraging LLMs, is a plus.
