Product Manager, Agent Authoring AI Platform
Overview
You own the product vision for agent and skill authoring tools at Google, driving agentic automation across Ads and Consumer products used by 1B+ monthly users. You bridge SOTA GenAI with developer tooling, enabling engineers to build, debug, and scale AI agents safely. You work with DeepMind and cross-functional teams to shape the platform strategy. This role focuses on portability and speed, letting authors build once and run anywhere.
What You'll Do8
- 1Define the product roadmap for agentic AI, aligning with business goals and user needs.
- 2Partner with engineering to translate product vision into technical specifications and evaluate trade-offs.
- 3Master partner use cases to build platform capabilities that maximize value for technical users.
- 4Coordinate with design, engineering, sales, and research to deliver seamless product launches.
- 5Track emerging AI trends and integrate LLM innovations into the platform.
- 6Own the authoring experience, from framework design to debugging and evaluation tools.
- 7Drive adoption of agent building blocks across internal and external surfaces.
- 8Measure and iterate on agent performance using observability and governance features.
Requirements9
- 15+ years of product management experience or related technical role.
- 22+ years taking technical products from conception to launch, including 0 to 1 builds.
- 3Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- 4Experience launching AI/LLM-based agents into production environments.
- 5Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6Preferred: 3+ years in business functions like marketing, operations, or consulting.
- 7Preferred: 3+ years presenting technical content to senior leadership.
- 8Preferred: 2+ years in software development or engineering.
- 9Preferred: 2+ years working cross-functionally with engineering, UX, sales, and finance.
