What You'll Do9
- 1Design and deliver database engineering solutions for mission critical platforms
- 2Lead proof of concept efforts to evaluate new technology solutions
- 3Interface with enterprise teams for Systems Administrators Cyber Security and Capacity Planning groups
- 4Establish database standards for operations upgrades migrations and onboarding
- 5Write clear technical documentation to maintain standards and procedures
- 6Drive database performance standards and improvement initiatives
- 7Self-manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
- 8Collaborate effectively in team environments with positive attitude
- 9Define and execute database performance tuning and optimization strategies
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23+ years of database performance experience on PostgreSQL Snowflake CockroachDB SingleStore and Microsoft SQL Server
- 35+ years experience with distributed replication technologies such as Oracle Golden Gate HVR and EDB Replication
- 4AWS cloud certification preferred
- 5Deep domain expertise in Oracle internals optimizer behavior statistics management partitioning and workload management
- 6Strong understanding of Oracle RAC performance challenges
- 7Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and performance analysis
- 8Ability to perform SQL code reviews and execution plan analysis
- 9Experience with PL/SQL and database monitoring job creation
- 10Familiarity with Linux performance tuning and Oracle Enterprise Manager
