The ideal candidate will support the Primary Care Provider by handling clinical and administrative tasks while coordinating proactive outreach and care management. What You'll Do8
- 1Room patients and document vital signs medical history and chief complaints
- 2Assist providers with in-clinic visits health assessments and virtual encounters
- 3Accurately enter clinical data into the electronic health record and manage prescriptions
- 4Conduct telephonic outreach coordinate preventive care and track patient follow-ups
- 5Process in-basket messages manage prior authorizations and coordinate referrals
- 6Prepare clinical equipment maintain supplies and support interdisciplinary team initiatives
- 7Perform injections phlebotomy and point-of-care testing within scope
- 8Participate in team huddles and contribute to care planning discussions
Requirements8
- 1Certified Medical Assistant or minimum two years experience in primary care settings
- 2Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmacology
- 3Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-based care model
- 4Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for patient transport needs
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office EMR systems such as AthenaHealth
- 6Excellent multitasking skills in fast-paced clinical environments
- 7Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations preferred
- 8Commitment to continuous learning and patient advocacy
