PMHNP or PA with psychiatric experience will provide on-site behavioral health care across Nashville at a full-time capacity. They will own comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning and medication management for adults and geriatric residents with limited access to specialized services. You will join an experienced behavioral health team offering clinical autonomy and robust support in a resident-centered environment. What You'll Do10

  • 1Build comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, consultations and follow-up visits to guide evidence-based care
  • 2Design and manage individualized treatment plans with ongoing medication monitoring and adjustment
  • 3Provide psychotropic prescribing and monitor treatment response and side effects
  • 4Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, social workers, residents and families to align care
  • 5Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and resident education for diagnoses and interventions
  • 6Educate residents, caregivers and staff on diagnoses, medications and behavioral strategies
  • 7Deliver trauma-informed, compassionate, resident-centered care within a clinical team
  • 8Maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical documentation
  • 9Engage in structured onboarding and ongoing mentorship to ensure clinical excellence
  • 10Contribute to operational support, professional development and leadership initiatives

Requirements8

  • 1Board-certified PMHNP-BC or Physician Assistant with significant psychiatric experience
  • 2Active and unrestricted Tennessee professional license
  • 3Active DEA registration required
  • 4Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, psychopharmacology and treatment planning
  • 5Ability to manage a psychiatric caseload independently
  • 6Excellent communication, organization and clinical-reasoning skills
  • 7Geriatric, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care or post-acute experience preferred
  • 8Familiarity with electronic medical record systems preferred
