Overview
Leading Walgreens pharmacy operations to deliver patient-focused care at scale across a high volume setting. Own workflow efficiency, inventory, and staff performance while ensuring compliance with regulations. Collaborate with Store Manager and Healthcare Supervisor to broaden clinical services such as immunizations and disease state management. What You'll Do10
- 1Build patient experience programs by greeting patients, resolving issues, and delivering a joyful, empathetic service.
- 2Lead workflow optimization and staff scheduling to ensure efficient operations and timely prescription fulfillment.
- 3Design and oversee clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and drug therapy reviews to improve patient outcomes.
- 4Own medication management from compounding to verification ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate dispensing.
- 5Scale insurance claims processing and resolve third party issues to minimize payment rejections and improve revenue.
- 6Drive performance management by training staff, conducting formal reviews, and recognizing high performers.
- 7Collaborate with Store Manager to identify strategic business opportunities and local community engagement.
- 8Manage inventory, technology systems, and inventory reporting to reduce shrink and improve financials.
- 9Support virtual product reviews and maintain compliance with Good Faith Dispensing and controlled substance laws.
- 10Monitor pharmacy metrics and implement improvements in customer service, operations, and community health initiatives.
Requirements6
- 1BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution
- 2Current pharmacist licensure in the district states
- 3Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days
- 4At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, compliance, operations, software, and insurance billing
- 5Experience with prescription dispensing and state and federal controlled substance laws
- 6Strong leadership behaviors rating on prior performance review or internal equivalent
