Pest Control Technician - Entry Level, Exton PA
Overview
You will protect homes and businesses across Exton, PA as the face of Viking Pest. You own pest identification, treatment, and prevention for residential and commercial clients. You work independently in the field, supported by a dedicated dispatch team and modern technology. This role offers paid training, a company vehicle after certification, and clear paths to advancement in a company with 40+ years of stability.
What You'll Do8
- 1Inspect properties for pests and rodents, identifying entry points and nesting areas within your first 30 days
- 2Apply EPA-approved treatments and baits to eliminate infestations and prevent recurrence
- 3Recommend preventive solutions to customers, focusing on long-term exclusion and habitat modification
- 4Document each client interaction on a company-issued smartphone using field service software
- 5Build trusting relationships with customers through clear communication and follow-up
- 6Drive a company vehicle safely to assigned routes, maintaining an acceptable driving record
- 7Adhere to OSHA safety standards and handle all chemicals with care
- 8Communicate daily with your branch manager to report completion and escalate issues
Requirements9
- 121+ years old
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- 4Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- 5Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and technology
- 6Strong customer service mindset and a positive attitude
