Pediatric Phlebotomist - KIDZ MEDICAL SERVICE
Overview
Pediatric Phlebotomist will own patient intake and specimen collection at our Miami clinic. You will work closely with pediatric hematology oncology teams to ensure accurate lab results. This role offers competitive pay and full benefits.
What You'll Do11
- 1Greets patients in person or by phone and directs them to triage after phlebotomy
- 2Sets up phlebotomy rooms and sterilizes instruments
- 3Collects blood specimens using venipuncture and skin puncture while preserving specimen integrity
- 4Instructs patients on proper urine sample collection and labeling
- 5Processes all specimens according to established protocols
- 6Adjusts to fluctuating patient flow while maintaining quality standards
- 7Manages inventory and places supply orders as needed
- 8Monitors compliance with safety policies and maintains a secure environment
- 9Collaborates with supervisors to improve clinic workflow efficiency
- 10Handles emergencies with composure and clear communication
- 11Supports overall clinic operations and enhances patient care reputation
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3CMA (AAMA) Certified
- 4Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- 5Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- 6EHR software experience preferred
- 7Bilingual skills a plus
- 8Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- 9Versatility and flexibility in a dynamic clinical setting
- 10Demonstrated competence in emergency situations
