PathGroup seeks a dedicated Patient Services Technician in Nashville to lead daily patient service operations. What You'll Do11
- 1Greets customers appropriately and treats them courteously
- 2Collects specimens accurately following established procedures
- 3Explains venipuncture processes clearly and reduces patient anxiety
- 4Disposes of biohazard materials in compliance with regulations
- 5Enters patient and specimen information into PathConnect systems
- 6Labels, centrifuges, and processes specimens according to protocols
- 7Maintains detailed records and completes requisitions
- 8Assists with monthly statistics and data compilation
- 9Performs clerical tasks such as filing and preparing mail
- 10Approves time in attendance and submits expense logs
- 11Adheres to dress code and maintains facility cleanliness
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2At least 1 year of relevant experience
- 3Phlebotomist Certification preferred
- 4Familiarity with HIPAA privacy and security policies
- 5Proficiency with PPE and laboratory safety procedures
