Patient Care Technician, Float Pool Per Diem Nights
Overview
You will deliver direct bedside care across multiple units as a Float Pool PCT at Jefferson Lansdale hospital. This per diem night role requires flexibility and acute care skills. What You'll Do5
- 1Perform assigned nursing procedures for patient comfort and well-being on float assignments across units.
- 2Maintain accurate flow sheets and documentation for all assigned patients each shift.
- 3Assist physicians with examinations and tests as directed by the care team.
- 4Provide direct bedside care, including respiratory services, rehabilitation support, and phlebotomy.
- 5Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and nursing staff to prioritize patient needs in a dynamic environment.
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2CPR-BLS through the American Heart Association.
- 31+ years experience in an acute care inpatient environment preferred.
- 4Patient Care Technician/Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
- 5Ability to work night shifts and float across units as needed.
