Part Time Product Demonstrator, Retail Sampling
Overview
You will own customer engagement and product sampling at a Cherry Hill, NJ retail location. You will connect shoppers with featured products through hands-on demonstrations, drive trial and sales, and support in-store events. You will join a team of retail specialists and report to the store manager. This role offers $16.42 per hour, ongoing training, and room to grow within a national retail partner.
What You'll Do8
- 1Engage customers with product demonstrations and guide them through sampling experiences
- 2Conduct product sampling during scheduled in-store events and promotional periods
- 3Prepare, cook, and present food samples while maintaining food safety standards
- 4Maintain a clean and organized demonstration area, including equipment and surfaces
- 5Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a hazard-free retail environment
- 6Support sales efforts by highlighting product features and benefits to shoppers
- 7Communicate effectively with team members and store personnel to coordinate event logistics
- 8Work independently during shifts while also collaborating with store staff as needed
Requirements8
- 118+ years of age or older
- 2Available to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends
- 3Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for up to 6 hours
- 4Comfortable interacting with customers and store staff in a retail setting
- 5Ability to prepare food and handle equipment safely
- 6Reliable transportation to and from the work location
- 7Ability to follow safety procedures in a retail environment
- 8Strong communication and interpersonal skills
