What You'll Do7
- 1Safely operate various delivery vehicles including box trucks and personal vehicles adhering to all traffic regulations and DOT standards
- 2Load unload and transport orders efficiently using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary
- 3Follow designated routes accurately using mobile devices or GPS systems to ensure prompt deliveries
- 4Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly answering questions and ensuring their orders are complete and satisfactory
- 5Maintain safe lifting practices when handling food boxes or other supplies including heavy lifting when required
- 6Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- 7Keep accurate records of deliveries mileage and any incidents or issues encountered during shifts
Requirements8
- 1Previous delivery driver experience or warehouse experience is preferred but not required
- 2Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- 3Experience with commercial driving or operating box trucks is a plus
- 4Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles and operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
- 5Knowledge of traffic laws DOT regulations and safe lifting practices
- 6Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance
- 7Comfortable working with mobile devices for route navigation and communication
- 8Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling in warehouse operations or when loading unloading supplies
Salary Insight
$31 - $46k per year
