Overview
Own overnight service routes across Nashville and surrounding areas, driving CDL-A tanker and vacuum trucks for LES's commercial and industrial clients. You join a tight-knit crew of 10+ drivers supported by dispatch and maintenance teams, operating well-maintained equipment and handling essential waste removal work. This role offers year-round stability and overtime pay, with the satisfaction of a job that never slows down.
What You'll Do6
- 1Drive CDL-A tanker and vacuum trucks on overnight local routes, completing up to 15 service stops per shift.
- 2Operate industrial hoses, pumps, and tanks to transfer waste at commercial and industrial sites.
- 3Complete DVIRs, safety checks, and service documentation for each shift.
- 4Troubleshoot basic equipment issues on the road and coordinate with dispatch for support.
- 5Maintain a clean safety record and adhere to DOT regulations at all times.
- 6Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, handling physical tasks like lifting, pulling, and climbing.
Requirements6
- 1Valid CDL-A license with Tanker endorsement
- 22+ years of commercial driving experience, preferably with tanker or vacuum trucks
- 3Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing and bending
- 4Comfort working in dirty, greasy, industrial environments
- 5Clean MVR and DOT physical card
- 6Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
