The Outbound Freight Processor owns the outbound freight process ensuring accurate labeling packaging and palletization. This full‑time role offers competitive wages and performance bonuses. Employees become primary contacts linking the distribution center sales and customer service while driving cost efficiencies.
What You'll Do11
- 1Process all outbound freight not related to branches including product verification and shipment accuracy
- 2Label package and palletize items for shipments
- 3Manage daily work schedules based on business transactions and customer needs
- 4Serve as main liaison between distribution center sales and customer service departments
- 5Communicate discrepancies damages and claims with vendors freight carriers and inventory control
- 6Prepare shipping documents using FedEx common carrier or other providers
- 7Monitor outbound freight reports and will call orders to guarantee proper ticket entry via SalesPad
- 8Pack check label and complete outbound freight tickets
- 9Compare carrier costs through Starship program to secure optimal rates
- 10Handle all will call customer pickups assist with order placement and process payments
- 11Process all will call COD orders and support purchasing department with promotional items
Requirements5
- 1Minimum age 18 years old
- 2Physical stamina to lift over 60 pounds stand for extended periods climb steps and carry products
- 3Exceptional computer literacy and experience required
- 4High School Diploma GED or equivalent education
- 55+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
