OTR Class A Driver, Regional Freight & E-Logs
Overview
Drive OTR Class A routes across California, Arizona, and Nevada in a manual transmission truck. Operate with E-Logs, perform PreTrip inspections, and transport freight from Los Angeles. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred. Home often, with travel extending beyond the region when needed. This contract role pays $20/hr during a 90-day probation then shifts to 1099.
What You'll Do7
- 1Run OTR routes across California, Arizona, and Nevada with occasional trips to other states.
- 2Operate manual transmission trucks with air brakes and no restrictions on your CDL.
- 3Perform PreTrip inspections on truck and trailer before each dispatch.
- 4Log hours with E-Logs for compliance and accuracy.
- 5Deliver freight on time, home often, with flexibility for extended runs.
- 6Communicate with dispatch in English and Spanish to coordinate deliveries.
- 7Maintain a clean driving record and pass ongoing drug tests and background checks.
Requirements7
- 11-2 years of CDL Class A driving experience, manual transmission and air brakes mandatory.
- 2Valid TWIC Card preferred, but not required.
- 3Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred for client communication.
- 4Proficiency with E-Logs for electronic logging.
- 5Clean driving record and pass a drug test (company paid) and background check.
- 6No restrictions on CDL license; must be Class A only.
- 7Readiness to travel within California, Arizona, and Nevada, with occasional out-of-state runs.
