Orthodontist, Clear Aligner Therapy & Digital Orthodontics
Overview
You'll own comprehensive orthodontic care for a loyal patient base across two Oregon locations, delivering treatment plans with clear aligner therapy and digital orthodontics. You'll join a collaborative team of clinical and administrative support, backed by modern technology and a family-oriented culture. This role offers a four-day workweek, letting you balance clinical excellence with life outside the office, plus the unique perk of working alongside Jaxon, the practice dog.
What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose orthodontic conditions and build individualized treatment plans using digital treatment planning tools.
- 2Deliver full orthodontic treatment, including traditional braces, clear aligner therapy, retainers, and other corrective appliances.
- 3Guide patients from first consultation to final retention, adjusting plans as needed to meet treatment goals.
- 4Educate patients and families on treatment options, oral hygiene, and expected outcomes.
- 5Document each patient's progress accurately in electronic health records, ensuring timely updates.
- 6Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to coordinate care and improve patient flow.
- 7Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards across both locations.
- 8Contribute to practice growth through community outreach and patient education events.
Requirements9
- 1DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school.
- 2Completion of an accredited Orthodontic residency or specialty training program.
- 3Active, unrestricted Oregon dental license with authorization to practice Orthodontics.
- 4Passed Oregon licensing and jurisprudence requirements.
- 5Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthodontics.
- 6Experience with digital orthodontics and clear aligner therapy is preferred.
- 7Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical practice.
- 8Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions.
- 9Ability to lead and mentor a clinical team in a patient-first culture.
