What You'll Do9
- 1Provide occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes
- 2Complete comprehensive evaluations of functional abilities and cognitive functions
- 3Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize patient independence
- 4Assess home environments and recommend adaptive equipment
- 5Implement therapeutic interventions that improve quality of life
- 6Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- 7Educate patients caregivers and families on therapeutic techniques
- 8Reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- 9Maintain accurate electronic documentation using EMR systems
Requirements9
- 1Current Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey
- 2Minimum one year recent OT experience
- 3Graduate degree from accredited OT program
- 4Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- 5Excellent communication organization and time management abilities
- 6Proficiency with electronic medical records
- 7Ability to work independently while collaborating with teams
- 8Reliable transportation throughout service areas
- 9Willingness to travel across multiple counties
