Overview
Design and implement enterprise network infrastructure in Salt Lake City. Build and secure network systems ensuring reliability across datacenter and enterprise environments. Support network hardware and security technologies while contributing to design and operational tasks. Deliver solutions that enhance performance and security.
What You'll Do11
- 1Support design implementation and maintenance of network architecture across LAN and datacenter environments
- 2Install configure and troubleshoot routers switches firewalls and load balancers
- 3Monitor network performance and security identifying and resolving issues
- 4Implement secure network configurations including VPNs and access controls
- 5Work with TCP/IP protocols routing and switching to ensure optimal functionality
- 6Support firewall configurations and enforce network security boundaries
- 7Perform packet analysis and assist with troubleshooting network traffic issues
- 8Maintain documentation and track work using ticketing systems
- 9Support virtualization environments including VMware and container-based solutions
- 10Participate in on-call support and live operational environments
- 11Obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification through equivalent experience
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in a related field with two additional years of experience substituting for degree
- 2Minimum three years of network engineering experience including LAN design architecture and security
- 3U.S. Citizenship required
- 4Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
- 5Experience with Cisco routers switches firewalls and IPSEC VPNs
Salary Insight
$85 - $105k per year
