What You'll Do11
- 1Uses the nursing process to assess plan and evaluate care of cancer patients and families
- 2Integrates patient and family centered care and quality caring factors
- 3Identifies document patient education based on learning needs
- 4Participates in evidence based improvement activities
- 5Engages in professional development aligned with standards and regulations
- 6Collaborates within interdisciplinary team to address biophysical psychosocial environmental self care educational discharge needs
- 7Applies Duffy caring factors to enhance healing environment
- 8Documents baseline and comparative records timely with age appropriate considerations
- 9Leads ship and scales care delivery across multiple units
- 10Drives continuous improvement through data analysis and protocol adherence
- 11Mentors junior staff while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing or Associate's degree plus one year relevant experience
- 2Current RN license in Florida or valid multi state privilege with primary residence in Florida
- 3Minimum one year inpatient hospital experience
- 4Medical surgery experience as a registered nurse
- 5Basic Life Support certification
- 6No active NPDB reports unless successfully appealed
- 7Commitment to ANA code of ethics and external regulatory compliance
- 8Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic post operative surgical environment
- 9Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- 10Experience with electronic health record documentation systems
- 11Willingness to participate in quarterly education workshops
