Millwright Mechanic - CNC & Hydraulic Systems
Overview
You will own equipment repair and preventive maintenance for a small maintenance team, keeping industrial machinery running at peak reliability. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work alongside two other mechanics. You will apply deep mechanical expertise with CNC knowledge to troubleshoot, install, and maintain complex systems. You will also handle hydraulic systems, welding, and blueprint interpretation, all within a safety-first culture. Advancement opportunities exist within the department for those who deliver results.
What You'll Do7
- 1Repair and maintain industrial equipment, focusing on CNC machinery and hydraulic systems.
- 2Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- 3Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems using CMMS software.
- 4Install new machinery and perform welding and fabrication tasks per specifications.
- 5Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide mechanical work.
- 6Conduct system testing to verify functionality and document all maintenance activities.
- 7Maintain tools and equipment in optimal condition, ensuring safety compliance.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Proficient in CNC machinery operation and maintenance.
- 4Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- 5Ability to read micrometers and calipers for precision measurements.
- 6Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
- 7Welding and fabrication skills for machinery installation and repair.
- 8Experience with CMMS for work order tracking and documentation.
