Medication Technician PRN
Overview
As a Medication Technician at Tarina of Cypresswood, you will administer medications to senior residents while supporting their daily care. You will work with a dedicated team of nursing staff and caregivers in a Houston, TX community. This role offers PRN flexibility with a requirement of 2 weekends per month, and you will make a direct impact on resident well-being through safe medication practices and compassionate support.
What You'll Do7
- 1Administer medications safely and accurately per state regulations and physician orders.
- 2Document medication administration in resident records and observe for side effects or health changes.
- 3Report resident concerns promptly to licensed nursing staff.
- 4Assist residents with ADLs, including personal care, mobility, and daily activities.
- 5Maintain a safe, clean environment for residents and team members.
- 6Collaborate with care team to deliver personalized care and support.
- 7Follow company policies and compliance standards for medication handling.
Requirements6
- 11+ year of medication technician experience required.
- 2CPR/First Aid certification required.
- 3Must be 18 years or older.
- 4Fluent English communication skills.
- 5Ability to pass background check and drug test.
- 6Availability for 2 weekends per month minimum.
