Medical Scheduler Access Coordinator, Pediatric Healthcare
Overview
You will own the intake, onboarding, and scheduling lifecycle for families at Neurotherapeutic Pediatric Therapies, a pediatric therapy provider in Portland, Oregon. You will create client records in the EHR, coordinate clinician schedules, and support access to care across 32 hours per week. You collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure families receive timely appointments. This role offers bilingual incentive pay and a full benefits package, including Simple IRA matching.
What You'll Do10
- 1Create new client and referral records within the EHR system.
- 2Enter and maintain accurate demographic and insurance data.
- 3Document presenting concerns and intake summaries.
- 4Upload and organize referral and intake documentation.
- 5Assign referrals to appropriate queues and monitor workflow statuses.
- 6Coordinate intake appointments and ongoing scheduling needs.
- 7Manage clinician schedules to support efficient utilization.
- 8Handle cancellations, reschedules, and waitlist management.
- 9Communicate scheduling updates and availability to families.
- 10Document all interactions within the EHR for continuity of care.
Requirements7
- 11-2 years in medical scheduling or healthcare administration.
- 2Experience in pediatric, rehab, or behavioral health settings preferred.
- 3Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- 4Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes.
- 5Experience with EHR systems required.
- 6Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace required.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent required.
