Medical Progressive Care Nurse at Jefferson Regional
Overview
The Registered Nurse will own patient care across a high acuity progressive care unit with 28 beds. This role leads nursing operations in a magnet recognized facility serving complex respiratory and cardiac patients. You will drive quality improvements while mentoring multidisciplinary teams. What You'll Do11
- 1Lead and execute comprehensive nursing care plans for complex cases including BiPAP management and titratable IV therapy
- 2Design and implement scalable solutions for patient flow optimization in acute progressive care settings
- 3Mentor LPNs and support staff through role modeling and evidence based practice sharing
- 4Utilize the nursing process to develop individualized care plans aligned with physician orders and patient goals
- 5Drive patient safety initiatives by analyzing health status data and implementing corrective actions
- 6Collaborate with physicians and therapists on interdisciplinary rounds to evaluate clinical pathways
- 7Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with NPSG and EBP standards
- 8Supervise delegate tasks while evaluating LPN scope of practice based on patient acuity
- 9Participate in quality improvement projects focused on reducing complications in progressive care units
- 10Promote compassionate communication through family centered care approaches
- 11Manage time effectively to meet patient needs while adhering to strict attendance policies
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state license via eNLC
- 3Preferred Certification in critical care specialties
- 4CPR certification
- 5Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance
- 6Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- 7FBI Fingerprinting
- 8Additional Education Requirements as specified by department
- 9Compliance with HIPAA and company privacy policies
- 10Code of Business Conduct adherence
