What You'll Do11
- 1Welcome patients and document histories in the EMR
- 2Administer medications and perform clinical procedures
- 3Assist with wound care and IV therapy when qualified
- 4Conduct diagnostic tests like EKGs and spirometry
- 5Manage patient communications and TCM outreach
- 6Prepare Health Risk Assessments for annual wellness visits
- 7Coordinate prescription refills and lab specimen processing
- 8Maintain office supplies and inventory levels
- 9Support onboarding new team members
- 10Document encounters and coordinate care transitions
- 11Perform preventive care outreach and patient education
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2Accredited Medical Assistant program graduate preferred
- 31+ year medical assistant experience in physician practice preferred
- 4Current CPR/BLS certification mandatory
- 5Phlebotomy experience preferred
- 6Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- 7Proficiency with EMR systems and Google Workspace
- 8Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 9Ability to lift 15 pounds and stand/sit for extended periods
- 10Reliable transportation to work location
- 11Commitment to value-based care and Medicare Advantage
