What You'll Do7
- 1Administer and document medications and treatments as directed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standard precautions.
- 2Document and report resident changes and observations to the health services team, physicians, and responsible parties.
- 3Communicate effectively with the health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and family members to coordinate care.
- 4Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, supporting residents' independence and dignity.
- 5Assist with daily tasks and requirements as requested, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- 6Ensure residents are treated with privacy, respect, and dignity at all times, upholding their rights.
- 7Follow infection control procedures and complete state-required training upon hire and annually.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 21+ year of caregiving experience in a nursing home or senior living setting.
- 3At least 18 years of age.
- 4Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology.
- 5CNA or Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- 6Food Handlers, First Aid, Caregiver, and CPR certifications preferred.
- 7Basic computer skills.
- 8Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- 9Pass a criminal background check and comprehensive reference check.
