What You'll Do7
- 1Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues across a wide range of vehicles using diagnostic tools and manuals.
- 2Perform routine maintenance including tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements to keep vehicles running safely.
- 3Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs to customers.
- 4Explain vehicle issues and next steps to customers clearly, building trust and ensuring repeat business.
- 5Communicate repair timelines and flag urgent parts needs to keep jobs moving efficiently.
- 6Maintain repair shop equipment and a clean, welcoming workspace for customers and teammates.
- 7Collaborate with the team on upfitting and customization projects, applying advanced skills to meet client specs.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or GED required.
- 25+ years of hands-on mechanical repair experience, including electrical diagnostics.
- 3Strong understanding of vehicle systems: engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and electrical.
- 4Proven ability to diagnose and fix complex issues independently.
- 5Excellent communication skills to explain repairs to customers.
- 6Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- 7Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
