What You'll Do11
- 1Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate product knowledge while maintaining a positive atmosphere
- 2Receive stock unload transport and grade meats ensuring accurate weight comparison against invoices
- 3Maintain cleanliness by adhering to Clean as You Go and Fresh at 4 programs
- 4Rotate stored meats to prevent aging and ensure optimal freshness
- 5Assist with weekly ad item selection and guide customers to product locations
- 6Follow all procedural guidelines and safety regulations within the Meat Department
- 7Perform general housekeeping including sanitizing work areas and maintaining temperature control
- 8Stand for up to four hours continuously and complete eight hour shifts
- 9Walk up to two miles per shift while managing product movement across the department
- 10Utilize equipment such as band saws grinders and slicers safely and effectively
- 11Lift carry and maneuver heavy products using proper techniques and equipment
Requirements11
- 1Minimum age of 18 with high school diploma or equivalent
- 2Strong math skills and understanding of weights and measures
- 3Outgoing personality with excellent communication abilities
- 4Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
- 5Commitment to teamwork and following established procedures
- 6Physical stamina to stand four hours and complete eight hour shifts
- 7Experience with sharp knives band saws grinders and other food processing tools
- 8Capacity to lift carry products between twenty-five to ninety pounds over distances up to sixty feet
- 9Strength to operate pallet jacks moving pallets up to five hundred pounds
- 10Ability to handle racks weighing seventy pounds with minimal force
- 11Willingness to move tables weighing seventy pounds over short distances
