What You'll Do8
- 1Perform therapeutic massage sessions that meet client needs and preferences, delivering consistent, high-quality service from the first appointment.
- 2Build a loyal client following by providing exceptional care and maintaining a welcoming, professional atmosphere, leveraging our large NJ client base.
- 3Maintain a clean, safe, and fully stocked treatment room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for each session.
- 4Document client session notes accurately in our system, including areas of focus and progress, to ensure continuity of care.
- 5Collaborate with the front desk and management to optimize scheduling and client satisfaction, responding to feedback and special requests.
- 6Adhere to all Massage Envy protocols and state licensing regulations, including hygiene standards and client confidentiality.
- 7Participate in ongoing training and continuing education, applying new techniques to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
- 8Utilize proper body mechanics and self-care practices to sustain your own physical health and longevity in the profession.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Massage Therapy license in New York or willingness to obtain before start.
- 2Graduation from an accredited massage therapy program, with either new graduate status or 1+ years of professional experience.
- 3Ability to perform Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities as needed, adapting to client preferences.
- 4Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach, with a focus on listening and communication.
- 5Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and apply varying pressure, with proper body mechanics.
- 6Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- 7Willingness to complete 12 CEU credits during new-hire training and pursue ongoing education.
- 8Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive environment for all clients and staff.
Salary Insight
$67 - $94k per year
