Overview
You will evaluate AI-generated marketing collateral for leading AI research labs, owning the quality bar for brand decks, slide decks, and documents. Work with a distributed team of elite creatives and technical experts, reporting through Mercor's platform to deliver structured feedback that directly improves AI outputs. This contract role pays $80–$120/hour and runs fully remote, with asynchronous deadlines and no client meetings.
What You'll Do8
- 1Evaluate AI-generated slide decks, documents, and spreadsheets for adherence to brand guidelines, aesthetic quality, and factual accuracy.
- 2Identify and document errors in visual design, copy clarity, and data presentation, flagging issues that compromise the artifact's effectiveness.
- 3Deliver written feedback in a structured rubric format, specifying exact improvements for tone, layout, and brand consistency.
- 4Grade each output on a defined scale, prioritizing critical issues that affect the final product's usability.
- 5Drive your own workload across multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing depth of assessment.
- 6Collaborate with the evaluation team to refine rubrics based on common error patterns observed across submissions.
- 7Escalate ambiguous cases to the platform team with clear rationale, ensuring the feedback loop stays accurate.
- 8Maintain English fluency and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace proficiency, especially Slides, to assess tool-specific constraints.
Requirements7
- 15+ years in brand direction, creative direction, or marketing collateral production, with a portfolio that includes slide decks and brand documents.
- 2Native or professional fluency in English, with exceptional writing and editing skills for clear feedback.
- 3Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly Slides, including use of templates and style guides.
- 4Demonstrated ability to spot visual inconsistencies, layout errors, and tone misalignments in marketing materials.
- 5Preferred: Master's degree or higher in marketing, communications, design, or a related field.
- 6Experience working independently on remote, asynchronous projects with hard deadlines.
- 7Familiarity with AI-generated content or evaluation frameworks, though not required.
