Overview

The Director, Chief Engineer leads the Maritime Division to deliver end-to-end technology solutions across space air land sea and cyber domains. This role owns technical scope cost and schedule performance drives strategic technical leadership and builds cross-functional teams to meet national security missions. Candidates will collaborate with sector peers and corporate leaders to drive innovation and ensure smooth program transitions.

  • 6Plan and execute product development from definition through production
  • 7Oversee IRAD portfolio and maintain technology roadmap
  • 8Manage engineering organization budgets
  • 9Champion NPI process and make high-level technical decisions
  • 10Collaborate with sector leadership to shape growth and product strategy
  • 11Foster culture of continuous improvement and employee motivation

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 15 years experience in product development
  • 2DoD experience with 10 years leading cross-functional teams
  • 3Active Secret Level Security Clearance preferred Top Secret SCI required
  • 4U.S. citizenship mandatory for clearance holders
  • 5Prior leadership across two or more engineering disciplines
  • 6Proven experience in mission-critical safety-critical development environments
  • 7Expertise with EVMS/CAM and proposal development including BOE generation
  • 8Experience scaling teams through growth or realignment
  • 9Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA highly desirable
  • 10Travel up to 25% of time as required
