Overview
Maintenance Worker maintains City of Orlando parking garages and lots, handling repairs, cleaning, and equipment upkeep. You work with pressure washers, EZ-GO carts, and lawnmowers across downtown locations. This seasonal role offers up to 30 hours weekly, with weekends and nights. You join a small team supporting daily operations. Direct impact on facility safety and cleanliness.
What You'll Do7
- 1Perform minor masonry, painting, and general repairs on parking structures.
- 2Clean parking facilities using pressure washers, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
- 3Check fluid levels on equipment, test generators and fire pumps, and service tires and batteries.
- 4Load and unload trucks with tools and materials for transport.
- 5Replenish restroom supplies and maintain cleanliness.
- 6Operate EZ-GO vehicles and lawnmowers for grounds upkeep.
- 7Follow safety protocols and work independently once trained.
Requirements7
- 1Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
- 21+ year experience in cleaning or repairs preferred.
- 3Valid Florida driver license required.
- 4Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- 5Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and use ladders for extended periods.
- 6Capacity to work in hot, humid conditions.
- 7Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays as scheduled.
