Commercial Employees is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a New Kensington manufacturer of anti-freeze and motor oil. This direct hire role offers $25-$30/hr at a Pittsburgh location. The position ensures efficient mechanical operations across production lines to meet customer demand.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform daily shut down start up and changeover of all production lines
- 2Operate hand and power tools to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- 3Assemble dismantle install and set up equipment for production
- 4Determine materials tools and instructions needed for projects
- 5Make necessary repairs to equipment based on written or verbal guidance
- 6Check services equipment and assemblies for proper performance and leaks
- 7Perform preventive maintenance as required
- 8Conduct mechanical maintenance using hand and power trucks
- 9Work independently or within a team environment
Requirements5
- 1High School diploma or GED with 1-3 years manufacturing maintenance experience
- 2Certified forklift operator capable of operating elevated lifts
- 3Ability to understand written and verbal work instructions
- 4Mechanical aptitude for operating machines safely and efficiently
- 5Pass mechanical aptitude test
