Litigation and Operations Legal Specialist
Overview
Public Storage seeks a Litigation & Operations Legal Specialist to lead legal operations. This role supports litigation intake case management docket oversight process service discovery assistance internal investigations coordination with IT for ESI legal liaison compliance guidance field operations and regulatory support intake matter tracking budget management regulatory inquiries response to field inquiries process improvements.
What You'll Do13
- 1Build and design processes for litigation intake and docket management
- 2Lead litigation management and small claims resolution
- 3Process service of process and assign matters to counsel
- 4Assist in discovery compilation for subpoenas and regulatory inquiries
- 5Support internal investigations timeline development and data analysis
- 6Coordinate ESI collection with IT and business units
- 7Serve as internal liaison for fact collection and document production
- 8Provide legal compliance guidance to field operations and commercial real estate
- 9Track legislative and regulatory developments affecting operations
- 10Support regulatory inquiries and customer escalations
- 11Maintain matter management systems and report outcomes
- 12Respond to field legal inquiries and escalate internally
- 13Improve processes reporting and coordinate cross-functional efforts
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in legal operations
- 3ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training
- 4Advanced Excel proficiency with ability to learn new applications
- 5Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and legal databases
- 6Excellent communication and organization skills
- 7Self-starter capable of multitasking in fast-paced environment
- 8Enthusiasm for collaborative legal team culture
- 9Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- 10Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
