Overview

You will own a caseload of patients ages 16 and up, delivering one-on-one psychotherapy for treatment-resistant depression and substance use disorders. Your days run full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with hybrid appointments scheduled based on patient needs. You join a structured clinical team where collaboration is active, not passive, and the Medical Director and CEO hold open-door policies. Non-clinical administrative work is handled by dedicated departments, so you focus on therapy and notes. EMR/EHR systems streamline your documentation, and you never face double-booked appointments.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling to patients ages 16 and older, addressing treatment-resistant depression and substance use disorders.
  • 2Complete clinical notes in a timely manner, leveraging EMR/EHR documentation tools.
  • 3Collaborate with providers and staff in a structured environment, using open-door access to the Medical Director and CEO.
  • 4Adapt session formats to patient needs, including hybrid in-person and telehealth appointments.
  • 5Maintain a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no double bookings.
  • 6Contribute to a culture of active clinical collaboration, sharing insights and treatment strategies.
  • 7Use DSM-5 criteria to diagnose and formulate treatment plans.
  • 8Track patient progress and adjust interventions based on clinical outcomes.

Requirements8

  • 1Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field (required).
  • 2Licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, with authorization to provide mental health treatment.
  • 32+ years of clinical experience in psychotherapy, with a strong background in evidence-based modalities.
  • 4Working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems, with 1+ years of documented use.
  • 5US work authorization (required).
  • 6Highly organized and self-motivated, with curiosity and a proactive approach.
  • 7Capacity to work in a structured, fast-paced clinical environment.
  • 8Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
