Licensed Pharmacy Technician - Medicine Shoppe Tampa
Overview
You will support pharmacy operations and deliver customer service in a healthcare setting. You will manage transactions, assist with medication processes, and provide clerical support. The role includes filling and preparing medications, and making patient care calls. You will use PioneerRx for prescription processing and maintain accurate records. This role helps ensure compliance with Facility and LTC procedures and includes delivering medications to patients and facilities using a company vehicle.
What You'll Do11

- 2Greet patients and process transactions accurately
- 3Answer questions regarding medication logistics, insurance, and pharmacy policies
- 4Support prescription processing in compliance with protocols
- 5Maintain accurate records of transactions and medication pickups
- 6Ensure compliance with Facility and LTC procedures
- 7Fill and prepare medications and other healthcare products for patients
- 8Type and process prescriptions using PioneerRx
- 9Label and record dosage information
- 10Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- 11Deliver medications to patients and facilities using company vehicle
Requirements10
- 11+ year experience as a pharmacy technician
- 2Pharmacy Technician License
- 3Valid drivers license and clean driving history
- 4Experience in LTC pharmacy preferred
- 5Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
- 6Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 8Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 9Ability to work well in a team
- 10Willingness to travel 50%
