Overview
The Lead, Channel Merchandising, Retail owns and operates the Footwear business in the Americas retail channel. This hands-on role drives consumer-centric assortments and Go-to-Market execution from strategy to in-season optimization. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of merchandising experience and passion for footwear.
What You'll Do9
- 1Create consumer centric assortments for the footwear business in the Retail channel
- 2Lead Go-to-Market milestones with support from the Sr. Director, Retail merchandising
- 3Connect product brand and sport moments to create authentic engagement
- 4Present assortment direction to support the Americas long term strategy
- 5Collaborate with POD across store staff planning retail ops visual merchandising and marketing
- 6Manage and perform under a fast-paced environment
- 7Analyze sales trends and competitive landscape to generate strategic recommendations
- 8Leverage consumer insights to drive conversations and identify incremental opportunities
- 9Think strategically and present ideas to evolve and improve processes
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with typically 6 years OR 12 years of relevant work experience without degree
- 2Teammate with ability to influence cross-functional partners through strong trust based relationships
- 3Demonstrated success partnering with cross functional pods and driving collaboration process and execution
- 4Clear compelling communicator who translates strategy insights into actionable direction
- 5Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills converting data consumer insight and marketplace trends into decisions
- 6Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in merchandising digital or product within a fast paced consumer driven organization
- 7Experience with Go To Market models within a global matrixed environment
- 8Reside within commuting distance from Baltimore office
- 9Hybrid work schedule requiring 4 days in-office per week

$90 - $120k per year
