Overview
Own lawn maintenance crews across Metro Atlanta with Georgia Landscape Contracting. You lead crews performing mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and weed control on high-end commercial properties. Your team runs four 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday with optional Saturday overtime. This role rewards dependable leaders with year-end bonuses and long-term growth in a stable company.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead a landscape maintenance crew of 3-5 workers on daily routes across Metro Atlanta.
- 2Operate zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, and blowers safely and efficiently.
- 3Manage daily production goals to complete all assigned properties on schedule.
- 4Inspect job sites for quality, correcting any missed areas or unsafe conditions.
- 5Train crew members on proper mowing techniques, pruning methods, and equipment care.
- 6Communicate with clients and supervisors to confirm job expectations and address concerns.
- 7Enforce safety protocols, including PPE use and equipment safety checks.
- 8Document daily work logs, including hours, materials, and any issues encountered.
Requirements7
- 12+ years leading landscape maintenance crews in a commercial setting.
- 2Hands-on experience with mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and weed control.
- 3Knowledge of common plants and turf species in the Southeast.
- 4Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical.
- 5Pass drug screening and E-Verify requirements.
- 6Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in outdoor weather conditions.
- 7Basic communication skills to coordinate with crew and clients.
