Laboratory Courier, Medical Specimen Transport
Overview
You'll own specimen pickup and delivery across Greater Portland/Vancouver, keeping lab operations moving. You'll drive a company courier car on a consistent M-F route, roughly 10:30am to 5pm. What You'll Do7
- 1Pick up and deliver medical specimens and supplies across Portland/Vancouver routes.
- 2Follow daily schedules and adapt to urgent pickup requests.
- 3Maintain a clean driving record and pass a background check.
- 4Represent the lab professionally with clean-cut appearance and courteous communication.
- 5Log deliveries and confirm signatures with accuracy.
- 6Coordinate with dispatch on route changes and delays.
- 7Assist with lab assistant tasks after cross-training, if selected.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of professional driving experience (delivery, courier, or similar).
- 2Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- 3Ability to pass a background check upon request.
- 4Professional appearance and customer service skills.
- 5Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 6Comfort using mobile devices for route tracking.
- 7Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and sit for extended periods.
- 8Flexibility with start and end times as routes vary.
