Overview
Own the Java and Oracle engineering for the DCI Settlement platform, handling high-volume financial transactions. You will join a team of engineers and collaborate with quants and operations. This 7-month contract (75% extension chance) embeds you in a fast-paced rollout of critical settlement systems.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and enhance Java services for the DCI Settlement platform.
- 2Design and tune Oracle database schemas and queries for high-throughput settlement.
- 3Debug and resolve production issues in the settlement engine.
- 4Drive performance improvements for end-of-day batch processing.
- 5Integrate new settlement workflows with existing Java and Oracle components.
- 6Ship code that meets regulatory and audit requirements.
Requirements6
- 15+ years building Java applications in financial services.
- 23+ years with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- 3Experience with Spring and Hibernate.
- 4Strong understanding of settlement and clearing processes.
- 5Ability to work in an onsite environment in Chicago.
- 6US work authorization required.
